BIMENT Terms of Service
Welcome to the BIMENT website, iOS App, Android App, and related services. These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are an agreement between you and Anhui Baimeng Technology Co., Ltd. (Chinese registered name: 安徽百梦特科技有限公司; “BIMENT”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
Please read these Terms, the BIMENT Privacy Policy, and the BIMENT Community Rules before creating an account or using an account-based service. By selecting the agreement checkbox, creating an account, signing in, or using an account-based service, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not create an account and stop using the relevant service.
The official filing number for the iOS and Android Apps is 皖ICP备2026025135号-3A. Website filing information is displayed in the website footer.
1. Services and International-App Scope
- BIMENT services may include public product information, account management, product registration, supported Bluetooth-device connection and configuration, repair and after-sales requests, the rider community, and other features shown in the relevant product.
- The international Android App uses the international service region. It supports email-based accounts and does not currently provide shopping, ordering, payment, or Alipay. A change of display language does not change an account's service region or grant additional capabilities.
- Features may differ by platform, App version, service region, account status, supported hardware, and server-authorized capabilities. The functions actually made available to your account are authoritative.
- Product specifications, compatibility information, firmware, and support content may change as products and documentation are updated. For installation, repair, firmware, and safety matters, follow the product manual, current technical notice, and BIMENT support guidance.
2. Account Registration and Security
- International users may register with an email address and sign in with either email and password or email and verification code.
- Use an email address that you lawfully control. Do not impersonate another person or use another person's contact information without authorization.
- You are responsible for taking reasonable steps to protect your password, verification codes, and signed-in devices. Never disclose a verification code to another person. Contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use or can no longer access your email address.
- You must not sell, rent, lend, transfer, bulk-register, or use automation to control accounts without our written permission.
- The service is primarily intended for users with legal capacity to use it. A child under 14 must not independently register or submit personal information. Other minors should use the service under the guidance of a parent or legal guardian as required by applicable law.
3. Device Connection and Riding Safety
- Device features are intended only for supported BIMENT products. You must confirm product compatibility and follow the product instructions before installation, calibration, configuration, or firmware update.
- Keep the bicycle stationary and remove load from the pedals when the App or product instructions require it. Check installation and equipment safety before every ride.
- Power, cadence, balance, battery, calibration, and similar values can be affected by installation, environment, battery state, firmware, and use. They are provided for riding and training reference and are not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or a substitute for professional repair or safety advice.
- Firmware updates are limited to packages published by BIMENT for the matching model and hardware version. Do not interrupt an update or attempt to install an unauthorized package.
4. Product Registration and Customer Service
- Product registration, transfer, warranty, repair, and after-sales functions may require a valid serial number, proof or date of purchase, fault description, photographs, return information, and other details necessary to handle the request.
- You must provide accurate information and must not register a product that you do not own or submit false warranty or repair information.
- Warranty and repair outcomes depend on applicable law, the product warranty, inspection results, and the circumstances of the request. An App submission alone does not guarantee a particular outcome.
5. Rider Community and User Content
- User content may include your display name, avatar, posts, images, comments, replies, reports, and other material you choose to submit. You remain responsible for the legality, accuracy, and rights to your content.
- Do not upload another person's identifiable image, contact details, address, order information, location, license plate, identity document, product serial number, or other personal information without lawful authority.
- You grant BIMENT a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, reproduce, format, display, and communicate your content only as reasonably necessary to operate, moderate, improve, and promote the BIMENT service and to handle complaints. Ownership remains with the lawful rights holder. After you delete content, we stop new public use except where retention is required by law, necessary for a dispute or security matter, or the content has been lawfully anonymized.
- Submitted posts, images, comments, and replies pass deterministic rules and, where the relevant capability is enabled, automated text or image safety review through the Kimi Open Platform API. High-confidence results may be automatically approved or rejected. Uncertain results, reports, provider failures, safety or privacy disputes, and appeals may be referred to authorized staff for human review.
- We may refuse publication, limit visibility, remove content, disable interaction, or require changes where reasonably necessary to apply law, these Terms, or the Community Rules. You may contact service@biment.cn for an explanation, make a complaint or appeal, and request human review.
6. Prohibited Conduct
You must not use the service to:
- violate applicable law or threaten public safety;
- infringe intellectual property, privacy, personal-information, publicity, reputation, or other lawful rights;
- impersonate another person or BIMENT, publish fabricated experiences, manipulate reviews or interactions, or mislead other users;
- publish harassment, hate, threats, discrimination, unlawful sexual content, spam, unauthorized advertising, malicious links, or instructions likely to cause unsafe riding, installation, or repair;
- upload malware or attack, scrape, reverse engineer, overload, bypass authorization, exploit vulnerabilities, or interfere with the service, except to the extent such activity cannot lawfully be restricted;
- abuse email delivery or verification-code functions, or attempt to obtain access to another account or device; or
- otherwise violate these Terms or the Community Rules.
7. Privacy and Permissions
- Our collection and use of personal information is described in the BIMENT Privacy Policy at https://www.biment.cn/en/legal/privacy-policy.
- Bluetooth, nearby-device, camera, and selected-photo access is requested only when needed for the feature you choose. Refusing an optional permission prevents that feature from working but does not prevent access to unrelated public content.
- You must not use BIMENT services to collect or disclose another person's personal information unlawfully.
8. Intellectual Property
- BIMENT names, trademarks, logos, software, interfaces, product images, documentation, firmware, and other content supplied by us belong to BIMENT or their lawful owners.
- Unless permitted by law or written authorization, you must not copy, modify, sell, rent, mirror, redistribute, or commercially exploit this material.
- You may share links to public BIMENT pages, provided that you do not falsely suggest authorization, partnership, or endorsement.
- To report suspected infringement, send the relevant URL, rights documentation, contact details, and supporting information to service@biment.cn.
9. Availability and Responsibility
- We take reasonable measures to maintain service security and continuity, but we cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.
- Maintenance, network or Bluetooth conditions, device battery, incompatible hardware, cyberattacks, government action, natural disasters, and other events beyond reasonable control may temporarily affect the service. We will make reasonable efforts to restore it and reduce the impact.
- Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits a consumer right or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. A party that violates applicable law or these Terms is responsible as provided by law.
10. Account Deletion, Suspension, and Termination
- You may request account deletion in the App through “Account → Account & Security → Delete Account”, or use the independent web entry at https://www.biment.cn/en/account-deletion.
- To prevent misuse, deletion requires identity verification using the verified email address and a dedicated deletion code, followed by the confirmation steps shown on screen. We may use another reasonable verification method for a support-assisted request.
- An unresolved repair, after-sales request, complaint, dispute, security investigation, or legal obligation may delay deletion. If so, the service will explain the applicable reason where possible.
- After deletion, personal information is deleted or anonymized in accordance with the Privacy Policy. Information that must be retained by law or is necessary to resolve a dispute is protected and used only for the permitted purpose and period. Deletion does not cancel rights or obligations that arose before deletion.
- We may warn, restrict, suspend, or terminate an account for serious or repeated violations, security threats, fraud, or legal requirements. Except where urgent risk or law prevents notice, we will provide a reason and an appeal route where reasonably possible.
11. Notices and Changes
- We may send necessary account, security, and service notices through the App, website, or email.
- If these Terms change materially, we will give prominent notice and obtain renewed consent where required by applicable law. The updated version applies from its stated effective date.
- If you do not agree to a material change, you may stop using the service and request account deletion.
12. Governing Law and Disputes
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the mainland of the People's Republic of China, without excluding mandatory protections that apply to you under another applicable law.
- Please contact us first so that the parties can try to resolve a dispute amicably.
- If a dispute cannot be resolved, either party may bring it before a court with jurisdiction under applicable law.
